The limited edition Braugh Slavelord model was given to GW UK Store Managers back in October 2004. Only 300 were made and each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, the back of which details the "unofficial" rules for using him. Both sides of the certificate are shown below; mine is number 219.
Having not been able to find much information about Braugh online, or any decent pictures, I thought I'd put mine up for show since I'd just finished his (good by my standards) paint job.
I bought him back in January 2009 from eBay for $260 (which was a good deal at the time given they were typically asking for around $500!) but I have only recently plucked up the courage to paint him.
It is beautiful miniature set up in a diorama with Braugh pulling along two of his slaves and accompanied by a gnoblar. The large base is littered with skulls, chains and a fish (bizarrely)!
The lack of instructions was the first hurdle. Where do all these chains go? I'm still not certain this is the correctly intended set up but I think it looks best with both slaves being led from the raised arm. The large set of chains is dragged from his other hand and there is a much smaller pair of manacles to be hung from a belt or similar which I have not added.
You may also be wondering where the gnoblar is. He is in my bits box. I hate gnoblars! I filled in his foot holes on the base and forgot all about him!
